Unit 2 Reflection Questions

1. Do you think humans will need to move to another planet?  Why or why not?

Yes,  because I think our planet resources will end after a while and we will need to find another place with other resources so we can live on. Also our planet is getting smaller to us as our population is increasing so it wont fit us any more in future.

2. If it does happen that some humans move to another planet, would you volunteer to go?  Why or why not?

Yes, I would go because it would be safer I think than to sit on planet earth and wait till all of our resources end.

3.  Read this article about people who have signed up to move to Mars: http://www.cnn.com/2013/08/09/tech/innovation/mars-one-applications/index.html  What is your reaction to this story?

I don't think that Mars is perfect planet to mover there, because Mars doesn't have a good environment for humans such as, water and oxygen but maybe scientists discover a new planet that has similar environment to the earth.

4. What do you think Ray Bradbury wanted the readers of "All Summer in a Day" to understand?  What did you think after reading this story?

I think the author wants people to believe that there is no place better that earth to live, but may be scientists find new planet in the future that people can live on it.

             My name is Saeed Al Shaer, and I'm happy you stopped by my blog.  I am interesting to get to read your posts this semester and looking forward to getting to know all of you better.

              I was born in UAE, I have 1 brother and 4 sister and I am the youngest.  I graduated from Higher College of Technology in Dubai with bachelor degree in Business Information Technology.  I came to State College to study master degree in MBA.

              I like surfing on the Internet and looking for new technology, shopping online, and watching movies.  I also love soccer and created my team to play with others online.
